Okay, okay, I can take a hint! I've had so many people give me a hard time about not updating the site that I am starting to feel really guilty :-)

A lot has been going on inside, it is sheetrocked, bathroom floors are tiled, logs are chinked, a fireplace installed and insulated.

(Blowing in insulation is not the funnest job in the world! I can now speak from experience as I was elected to help with that job.)

The outside is now stuccoed with two coats of stucco in the panels where there are no logs. Mark decided to do a batten and board in the gable ends instead of stucco because stucco takes a looong time to do. We think we will stucco the dormers though. Keep in mind there will be a wrap-around porch someday so that will help separate the top of the house from the bottom.

This is the hallway framed in, on the left is the stairway. This is the front door..

Inside here is the fireplace. This will be framed in with a rock hearth and most likely a stucco surround similar to the outside of the house. We definitely want to do something unique and different than the usual "rock fireplace", something with a Scandinavian flair.

This is the window in the master bedroom. This room is all sheetrocked. My office will also be up here until we add on a garage and then my office will turn into a walk-in closet.

This is one of the girls' bedrooms all sheetrocked.

One of my FAVORITE parts! The whirlpool tub! Can't wait to soak in here and watch the stars out the window!!
